On Instagram, an account shared a video of the Great Wall of China teeming with tourists. In the viral video, throngs of tourists were snaking along the historical landmark, jostling for space. Due to overtourism, the Great Wall suffers from wear and tear and the constant stream of visitors will disrupt the serenity of the historical site.
