Crows can recognise geometric shapes: Study

Crows can recognize geometric regularity, making them first non-human animals known to have this ability, according to a study published in Science Advances. Researchers trained crows to detect visually distinct intruder among various shapes, particularly quadrilaterals such as squares, rectangles, and parallelograms. The study found that crows recognised geometric regularity in visual shapes.
