A 2-year-old female sniffer dog of CRPF, called Rolo, died after being stung by bees 200 times during the anti-Naxalite operation carried out by security forces at Karregutta Hills on Chhattisgarh-Telangana border. Rolo and her handler were attacked by a swarm of honey bees while returning from duty. She was tasked with sniffing out explosives and improvised explosive devices (IEDs).
