Sumeet Singhal, Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS), North Frontier Circle, inspected the Sealdah-Esplanade stretch of the Green line of Kolkata Metro (2.63 km), to check air-conditioning and fire-fighting systems and other safety features. He boarded a trolley towards the east and west tunnels to check the cross-passages, tunnel curves, and the egress shaft at Bowbazar's Durga Pituri Lane.
