Crude oil futures record biggest weekly gains since 2020 pandemic era amid Middle East war

West Texas Intermediate (WTI) and Brent crude futures have recorded the biggest gains at 35.6% and 27%, respectively, over the past week since 2020 COVID-19 pandemic era, Reuters reported. This comes as the war in Middle East has triggered a disruption in crude oil prices. While Brent crude futures settled at $92.69 a barrel, WTI ended at $90.90 a barrel.
