CSK's Shreyas Gopal lit up the opening game of the 2025 Maharaja Trophy with an all-round showing, scoring 20* with the bat and then taking 3/30 with the ball. Captaining Mangaluru Dragons, Gopal led his side to a comfortable 33-run win over Gulbarga Mystics. In the same game, Punjab Kings’ Vyshak Vijaykumar also impressed, taking 2/28 with the ball.
