GCDA will redevelop Kochi’s Ambedkar Stadium into a modern sports city using ₹90 crore from CSR funds, marking Kerala’s first fully corporate-funded sports project. The plan includes a new football stadium, cricket pitch, swimming pool, and more. Ten companies will fund different modules. Construction begins soon, aiming to revive the neglected area and boost sports infrastructure.
