Kazakhstan Presidential Office on Sunday said that peacekeeping troops from Collective Security Treaty Organisation (CSTO) are guarding "a number of strategic facilities" in the country. President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev had invited the peacekeeping troops amid violent protests in the central Asian country. Kazakhstan authorities today claimed they had stabilised the situation across the country.
