A US-based doctor recently shared a CT scan of a patient's leg muscles infested with a parasitic infection. The infection, known as cysticercosis, is caused by eating undercooked pork. "After the eggs are ingested, they release larvae which penetrate the intestinal wall and invade into the bloodstream and from there can spread to...anywhere in the entire body," the doctor said.
