Curaçao, the smallest nation by population ever to qualify for a World Cup, earned their first-ever point with a goalless draw against Ecuador in Kansas City. Goalkeeper Eloy Room produced 15 saves, the most by any goalkeeper in a World Cup match without extra time, to deny Ecuador's 28 shots. The result keeps Curaçao's knockout hopes alive.
