Para-athlete Shubham Juyal, who won a silver in men's shot put at Commonwealth Games (CWG) 2026, underwent an above-knee amputation four years ago after a bike accident. "Just four years ago, on August 1, I was in the ICU....and...I was completely hopeless and aimless...I never thought...I would compete in the Commonwealth Games, let alone win a silver medal," he said.
