With a 1033.3 % jump in cyber crimes in 2012, Kolkata has shown the biggest jump nationwide in cyber-crime cases, according to the National Crime Records Data for 2012. On the other hand, such cases have increased by a whopping 355.8 % in West Bengal. Despite all these, the cops still remain divided on invoking the stringent IT Act.
