People in Gujarat have reported that cybercriminals are now using a new method of cheating people by stealing money from bank accounts without generating OTPs. The bank accounts of all victims reportedly had an unknown beneficiary added without authorisation from the account holder. Police have written to the concerned banks to detect any loopholes that the cybercriminals may be exploiting.
