Cyclone Arnab makes landfall along Andhra coast

The landfall process of very severe cyclonic storm Arnab began at 1:20 am on Wednesday along the Andhra Pradesh and Yanam coasts, the India Meteorological Department said. The storm had sustained winds of 125-135 kmph, with gusts reaching 150 kmph. The landfall occurred between Bapatla and Visakhapatnam, south of Yanam.
