The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Tuesday reported a depression over the southeast Arabian Sea, 1100 km southwest of Mumbai, which is likely to intensify into a cyclonic storm in the next 12 hours. The cyclone will be named 'Biparjoy' which is a name given by Bangladesh. The depression is likely to move northwards before intensifying into a cyclone.
