Cyclone Murasu hits Andhra coast, heavy rain alert in 15 districts

Cyclone Murasu began crossing the Andhra Pradesh coast near Ongole on November 3, bringing winds of up to 120 kmph and torrential rain. The IMD issued flash flood alerts for 15 districts, while schools were shut in several areas. Coastal flooding, rough seas and infrastructure damage have been reported. Telangana may also experience heavy rain, thunderstorms and gusty winds.
