Chennai's Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC) said an upper air cyclonic circulation moved over Bay of Bengal on Tuesday, due to which a low pressure area has been formed. "It's likely to move west-northwestwards and concentrate into a Depression...off North Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh coasts by [Wednesday]," it added. Following this, warnings were issued in Tamil Nadu's coastal areas.
