Cyclone Yaas, which may hit West Bengal and Odisha coasts on May 26, is unlikely to match the intensity of super cyclonic storm Amphan, which made landfall in May 2020 near the India-Bangladesh border, IMD said. "In the forenoon of May 26, the wind speed will reach around 100 kmph...As cyclone approaches...wind speed would...remain around 120 kmph," an official said.
