Late actor Amjad Khan's son, Shadaab Khan, said his father did not have money to pay for his mother, Shehla Khan's discharge from the hospital when he was born. "[My dad] was ashamed to show his face. [Late] Chetan Anand...happened to see my father holding his head in corner...[he] gave him ₹400...so that my mother and I could come home."
