Two days after the CSMT bridge collapse killed six people and injured over 30, Western Railway have decided to temporarily shut Dadar South MCGM foot overbridge for "the safety of passengers". During the investigation, it was found that its ramp and staircase needed strengthening work. After the CSMT tragedy, BMC ordered urgent audits of 157 bridges in the city.
