Daimler AG, the world's largest truck manufacturer, is planning to export bus chassis and fully built luxury buses under the brand Mercedes-Benz from its manufacturing unit in Chennai. Daimler will export the high-end product out of India to markets in Africa and South Asia. The buses are designed and engineered in India with an overall localization of over 50%.
