Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama has successfully undergone left knee replacement surgery at a private hospital in New Delhi. Doctors said the procedure was successful, his condition is stable, and recovery is progressing well. The 89-year-old leader is in good spirits and is expected to travel to Ladakh later this month after recuperation.
