A 17-year-old Dalit boy from Bihar has been awarded a ₹2.5 crore scholarship to study at the US' Lafayette College. Prem Kumar, who is the son of a daily wage worker, is one among only six students selected from across the world for the prestigious 'Dyer Fellowship'. Kumar will fly to Pennsylvania to study Mechanical Engineering and International Relations.
