Dalits made to empty chair, sit on floor at I-Day event in Raj; FIR filed

Rajasthan Police filed an FIR after some Dalits alleged they were told to vacate chairs during a school's Independence Day function and sit on the floor. Rameshwarlal Bairwa, one of the men who filed the FIR, said a person asked them, "What right do you have to sit in front of us?" He added that the incident caused "mental trauma".
