The Jaypee Group said on Monday that a binding agreement has been signed to sell the group's cement business to Dalmia Bharat's wholly owned subsidiary, Dalmia Cement, at an enterprise value of ₹5,666 crore. The acquisitions amount to cement capacity of 9.4 million tonnes, along with a clinker capacity of 6.7 million tonnes and thermal power plants of 280 megawatts.
