Cofferdam, which is a part of the Malana-I Hydropower Project in Himachal Pradesh's Kullu, collapsed due to continuous rainfall and flash flood, NDTV reported. Its collapse led to a surge of water that swept away vehicles at the dam site, including a dumper truck and a hydra crane. Video from the site showed water tearing through the site.
