Danam Nagender moves SC against T'gana HC disqualification verdict

Former Khairatabad MLA Danam Nagender on Monday approached the Supreme Court against Telangana HC’s order disqualifying him under the anti-defection law. High Court held that he stood disqualified from April 23, 2024, when he filed his nomination as a Congress candidate for Secunderabad Lok Sabha seat while serving as a BRS MLA. The SC has agreed for an urgent hearing.
