Russia's 23-year-old tennis player Daniil Medvedev, who has lifted three titles in a breakthrough 2019, beat Greece's Stefanos Tsitsipas 7-6, 7-5 in Shanghai to reach his sixth consecutive final. Medvedev has now seen off Tsitsipas, who defeated world number one Novak Djokovic on Friday, in all five of their matches. Medvedev will face Alexander Zverev in the event's final.
