Danish-French veteran actress-singer Anna Karina, who became a symbol of French New Wave film movement, passed away in Paris at the age of 79. Condoling Anna's death, her agent Laurent Balandras tweeted, "A legend, an icon...died yesterday (Saturday) of cancer." The actress-director, who also wrote four novels, passed away in company of American director and her fourth ex-husband Dennis Berry.
