Dark chocolate compound may help slow ageing, study finds

A new study from King’s College London found that theobromine, a key compound in dark chocolate, is linked to slower biological ageing. Higher blood levels of theobromine corresponded with healthier DNA markers and longer telomeres, suggesting that cocoa's natural alkaloid may support longevity when consumed in moderation
