Dark chocolate may help slow down ageing, study finds

Dark chocolate contains a chemical compound called theobromine that likely has anti-ageing properties, according to a study published in the journal Aging. The researchers, who analysed over 1,669 participants from two groups, found that those with higher levels of theobromine in their blood had a biological age lower than their actual age. Theobromine is a common plant compound.
