According to DataWind CEO Suneet Singh Tuli, the Canada-based company is planning to launch a 4G-enabled smartphone by 2016 for under ₹3,000. Further, the low-cost smartphone maker is planning to open two more manufacturing units in India with an initial investment of ₹200 crore. DataWind is also reportedly launching the world's most affordable smartphone for ₹999 on December 28.
