A tragic incident was reported from Kagwad where a 76 year old Hanamvva Ramu Mujjagoni died of shock after seeing her 101 year old mother Gangavva Channabasappa Parthanahalli's body during funeral rites. She collapsed on the spot and could not be revived. Both deaths within hours left Parthanahalli village in deep grief and shock among family members and locals.
