Days after going unsold in the IPL 2025 mega auction, Mumbai all-rounder Shardul Thakur recorded the joint-worst bowling figures in the history of Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (SMAT). The 33-year-old registered figures of 4-0-69-1 against Kerala on Friday. He equalled record of Arunachal Pradesh's Ramesh Rahul, who had conceded 69 runs against Haryana on November 25, 2024.
