Deadliest plane crash: What really happened in Tenerife?

In 1977, two jumbo jets collided on the runway at Tenerife airport in Spain, killing 583 people. Poor visibility, miscommunication, and a premature takeoff caused the disaster. Both planes were Boeing 747s, and the crash remains the deadliest in aviation history. The incident led to major changes in air traffic control and pilot communication worldwide.
