The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) has extended the deadline for filing GSTR-3B returns for the September 2025 tax period to October 25. The extension also applies to the July-September quarter. The Bombay Chartered Accountant Society had urged for an extension as the earlier October 20 deadline coincided with Diwali festivities.
