The death toll from Hurricane Helene in the United States of America has risen to 227. Hurricane Helene is the deadliest hurricane to hit the mainland US since Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Hurricane Helene had made its landfall on September 26 and has killed people across six states in the US. Around half of the victims were in North Carolina.
