The number of Palestinians killed in Gaza in the Israel war, which started on October 7, 2023, surpassed the 60,000-mark on Tuesday, Gaza Health Ministry said. The ministry said that more than half of those killed were women and children. The World Food Programme said that almost 4,70,000 people are enduring famine-like conditions.
