The death toll in the train accident in Maharashtra's Jalgaon district has risen to 12. The Indian Railways has announced an ex-gratia of ₹1.5 lakh for the families of the deceased. The incident took place after the Pushpak Express passengers were hit by another train after jumping on tracks as rumours of a fire on the train spread panic.
