The death toll at state-run Dr Shankarrao Chavan Government Hospital in Maharashtra's Nanded shot up to 35 after four more patients died on Tuesday. The 35 deaths comprise 16 infants and 19 adults. The government hospital has been witnessing a spate of deaths for the past two days. Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde had ordered an inquiry into the incident.
