The death toll in the Odisha government hospital fire rose to 12 after two patients succumbed to their injuries. Odisha's Health Minister Mukesh Mahaling said that 11 medical staffers injured in the fire are out of danger and undergoing treatment. PM Modi had announced an ex-gratia of ₹2 lakh for the families of the deceased and ₹50,000 for the injured.
