Actor and Waris Punjab De's previous chief Deep Sidhu, who was killed in a car accident in February 2022, had blocked Amritpal Singh's phone number before his death, PTI reported, citing recently-found documents. The documents also reportedly revealed that Amritpal, the current Waris chief, wanted to encash Deep Sidhu's popularity for an extremist outfit named 'Warris Panj-ab De'.
