Pregnancy and post-delivery Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) cases are rising, where blood clots form in deep leg veins and may cause life-threatening pulmonary embolism. Dr Surbhi Siddharth of Motherhood Hospital warns that hormonal changes, inactivity, C-section and obesity raise risk. Early symptoms like leg swelling, pain or redness need urgent medical attention.
