Deepak Nirula, the son of Madan Gopal Nirula, who made the fast food brand 'Nirula's' famous across north India, passed away at 70 on Tuesday. The family sold the brand name to Navis Capital Partners in 2006. "Thank you for giving us our first pizza, our first burger, our first ice-cream parlour experience," an Instagram post by Nirula's said.
