Defence Ministry said that it has achieved 100% utilisation of its ₹1.86 lakh crore capital outlay for FY 2025-26, with overall defence budget utilisation at 99.62%. It added, "A total of 109 AoNs worth ₹6.81 lakh crore...and 503 contracts worth ₹2.28 lakh crore were signed." It said, "Capital outlay for FY 2026-27...has been raised by 22% to ₹2.19 lakh crore."
