The Ministry of Defence has dismissed the reports of a cybersecurity breach involving the Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO), calling them "incorrect and unverified". The ministry said an investigation found no evidence of any active cyberattack, unauthorised network intrusion or ongoing data exfiltration. It added that most of the data claimed to have been leaked is unclassified.
