Defence stocks fall for 2nd day as BEL, MTAR drag index

Defence stocks declined for a second straight session on Monday, with the Nifty India Defence index falling 0.39% to 9,106.85. Bharat Electronics was the biggest drag, followed by MTAR Technologies, Solar Industries and Data Patterns. Hindustan Aeronautics, Astra Microwave and Cyient DLM helped limit the decline.
