Delhi Capitals' (DC) co-owners GMR Group have acquired Hampshire county team. It is the first instance of a county cricket team being acquired by an international company. As part of the agreement, GMR Group will initially acquire a majority stake in Hampshire Sport & Leisure Holdings Limited, with the completed acquisition of 100% ownership expected within the next 24 months.
