According to The Telegraph, the GMR Group, owners of the Delhi Capitals franchise in the IPL have agreed to acquire a majority stake in Hampshire for 120 million pounds, potentially making it the first English county club to be owned by an overseas franchise. The GMR Group reportedly beat out competition from Lucknow Super Giants to seal the deal.
