After PM Narendra Modi appealed for fuel conservation amid Middle East crisis, Delhi CM Rekha Gupta reduced her convoy by 60%. Her convoy now has only four vehicles, including two electric vehicles (EV). Meanwhile, PM Modi reduced the number of vehicles in his convoy by 50% and asked the SPG, responsible for his security, to increase use of EVs.
